Vodka Grey Goose was worked out as a luxury product by the American multimillionaire Sidney Frank, which wanted to capitalize on the prestige of French picture. Worked out by H. Mounier in Cognac, a city traditionally linked to brandies haut-de-gamme, it uses exfloor of the wheat of cultivated winter in Beauce, filtered across limestones of Champagne region and diluted in some spring water of Gensac-la-Pallue.
Grey Goose aims at the market ultra-haut-de-gamme, his sales attain 1,4 million cases a year in 2003, behind the leaders Absolut and Smirnoff (respectively 4,5 and 7 millions in 2003). Mark is also partner of the first ice bar of Paris, Kube Bar.
