The flute or champagne flute, is a glass for serving champagne.

The flute is a long stemmed glass end. The reduced contact surface with air can limit the loss of bubbles. The stem prevents the hand holding the flute does warm champagne. Its capacity is 12.5 cl.

The flute has replaced the champagne glass in the years 30. Amateurs considers that it corresponded better to the sweetest champagne then fashionable, while the flute is more adapted to drier champagnes today.
